Whenever I go antiquing, I always manage to find something that I can add to my collection of linens, vintage costume jewelry, cake platter,  or tea set item.  Like many of you, I love the "hunt" for the treasures.  I recently found this cup and saucer which is English Bone China by Rosina China Company.  The pattern is "Queens".

Recently I have noticed patterns that some of my blogging friends collect.....I I tell them I saw their beloved pattern at a bargain price or keep my mouth shut?

The gold on this tea cup and saucer is lovely.  The painting was a gift from Colorado Springs
artist, Sharon Dougherty.

Today is "Open House" which means you are invited to share a post from your blog about anything to do with home, cooking, antiquing, collecting, DIY, decorating garden, etc.

I am also linking to Feathered Nest Friday and Home Sweet Home

Hi Bernideen. I LOVE your new teacup! Gorgeous! So pretty with the gold frame. Your collage is lovely. My post today was about the London Underground & Kate's birthday, so that didn't seem to fit your Home theme to link.

I love teacups and I love to use them and have tea parties. My friend that just died and I used to have tea parties with shut ins.

We may have met by chance...but we become friends by choice.

Bernideen, I have only the two Old English Rose teacups. I got one for twelve dollars and the other for eight. Both were found at thrift shops and in perfect condition. I felt I had gotten a good deal on them. I definitely would pay ten for those plates you saw! It is hard to resist a good bargain, especially when it's china and linen. Thanks for your visit and have a super weekend.

I know what you mean, Bernideen! If someone has specifically asked for help locating an item, I'll tell them. But usually, I figure the "thrill" is in the personal hunt, so I just wait and let them come upon the item one day on their own.

Hi Bernideen, I think they would be happy to know. Then it's up to them if they act on it or not. Love your beautiful roses. Both real and on the teacup. I must remember Open House. Adding it to my sidebar. Thanks for sharing with Share Your Cup.
