BLOOMS FOR "Open House"

Every season has its own beauty and summer is certainly wonderful.  The sage is blooming in my backyard
 and smells so good!

Today is Open House where you are invited to share something from your blog about your home!

It's a slow go here in Colorado for some things in the garden.

I am not usually an annual purchaser but I did put a
few in pots for this cart and some window boxes.

My pansies will bloom all summer if I water them  We are on water  restrictions because of the drought.  I can hand water though.

This morning I took a few photos at the Colorado Springs
Xeriscape Garden here on the west side of town which is something I need to learn more about!

These photos were taken there:

I will be sharing this post with these blogging friends:

Today I am featuring 3 posts from last week as well:
The first one is Lady B's Time For Tea Blog and her lovely Chintz!

The second one is the beautiful bedroom set that has been repainted by Kathy at A Delightsome Life:

And Lastly, An Extraordinary Day showed us a lovely DIY divider screen she designed from castoffs in her neighborhood. What a great re purposing project:

I have company coming Friday so I am posting Open House early this week.  Please join me by posting anything about: HOME such as cooking, baking, decorating, garden, DIY, hobbies, sewing, etc.
Please include a link here as well on your post!

Hope you have a lovely week!

Hi Bernideen. I completely overlooked your Open House party on my list. I'm getting so many on the list, I guess I need to rewrite itso it's more legible. Anyway I'm so happy to be able to join you again and your garden blooms are just beautiful. I love all the pretty statuary that you have in the garden..Thanks for hosting and Happy Wednesday..Judy

Love the old door, Bernideen! Your foxglove, lupine, and clematis are beautiful. I still have pansies blooming too - very unusual as we've now reached the long, hot days of an Iowa summer. I will be linking up tomorrow with a fun post. I have that kniphofia (Red Hot Poker) plant in my garden. It's stunning!

I love your garden! Each time you show your garden, I am amazed that you live in CO. I just don't think about seeing such loveliness there. I guess I've been mostly to ranches and well...they do things differently than you. [wink]
Bernideen, I am so honored that you would choose to feature my trash to treasure screen.
Hope you enjoy your company and make many special memories. I'm pretty sure they are going to be wowed by all your lovely new decor.

Hello, Bernideen

Your garden and the one you featured are lovely and lush. I have some pansies as well, but they are getting rather "leggy" at this point.

Thank you for the invitation to participate in your Open House and I hope you enjoy the rest of your week.

Hi! That is a cute hanging lady and the door with the birdhouse and birdbath would look great in my yard!! Maybe I could bottle some of our rain and send it to you for your drought. It must have been so interesting and relaxing to wonder through the Xeriscape Gardens! Have a nice time away! Nancy

Love seeing all your flowers in bloom! It's still amazing to me that it's like early spring there while we are fully into summer here!

Loved your blooms. I hope you get a bit of rain and moisture to help them grow.

Your garden is beautiful and how cute is that bunny in the garden you visited. Every summer my Mom and I keep all the water we use to clean vegetables for example to water the garden.

I loved seeing all your pretty flowers, Bernideen! We are on water restrictions, too. I saw the pic of the bunny. Bunnies around here ruin so much. We plant pansies in the Fall and they can wipe out all the blossoms. I only plant them in containers that they can't reach. Thank you for hosting and happy weekend.

Great garden photos, Bernideen, and I enjoyed the three photos you shared from other bloggers. I wish I knew how to change your blog address on my blog - it's tough being technically challenged ;-), but I've got a list of things I need done on my blog, so will be contacting my tech guy soon. Your new address is on my list.
