VINTAGE COTTAGE IN THE KITCHEN

Every week I think to myself that next week I will really have time to spend on my blog.  This is a joke!  Ha, ha, ha!  Let's all laugh together.  I never have more time.  Today I am sharing a few photos:

We will be getting our warmer weather back today after having very cool weather and almost cold at night.  It has rained and rained.  We haven't had anything like this amount of rain for many years.

Those of you who follow my blog already know that this is my kitchen buffet which my husband painted earlier this year during the winter.  The coffee pot and cream and sugar are English Copeland Spode "Dubarry" and the teapot which I have shared before is a Sadler.

  3. Hi Bernideen,
I just love your sideboard with all of your pretties! Those teapots are so elegant. We have your rain here now and apparently we won't have any sun until Sunday or Monday. I hope your sunshine appears today. Take care,
    Karen

  10. Hi Bernideen
I don't have a shop to run like you and still find it hard to post at times. Your tea cabinet area is much like mine with our tea things and pretties on, and around it. I sure love the transformation of the cabinet with the Sloan paint to this colour too.
We're hoping warmer weather will return here as well, 50 F in the morning is chilly for walking the dog at 7 am.

  13. You sound like us here in Georgia with the rain. It's usually in the 100's by this time in August, and the highs last week barely broke 70!

  14. Such a lovely buffet and all your gorgeous china and teapots. I envy people who have nice dining rooms with all the pretties. Makes me miss our nice dining room in KY house, don't have an eating area at all in our house now. We have a single wide mfg. home. We used to use our mud room for dining but just too cramped so got rid of table/chairs/buffet-hutch.
You certainly have such pretty delicate things on your buffet. Nice to be able to see them and enjoy them. I just got tired of dusting all of it, now it's in the shed. Funny how you miss things like that just to look at.
