Sunday Celebrations!

The winter issue of Victorian Homes has the most beautiful story about Louis Tiffany and his stained glass. In fact this glass is beyond description in beauty and holds special interest to those like myself who love God's Word.

This is an article about some very large pieces - 7 in fact that were designed by Tiffany and originally installed in a church in 1902. They were commissioned by a church as a gift for another church. Many years later when a highway project caused the church to be torn down they were packed in crates and seemed to be lost to all until a woman found them in an old building in 2001. A great
deal of restoration has taken place and the 7 angels in the book of Revelation are now traveling around the country. See to see if they will be coming to a city near you!

I just love that Magazine. And the story sounds very interesting. I am going to find a copy and buy it.

Louis Comfort Tiffany was amazing in his skills, insight and love for beauty. If you a re ever in florida you have to plan to see the Morse Museum in Winter Park, a suburb of Orlando. This museum is the largest collection of LCT's work.
I too share your passion for god's word, and see God's hand of inspiration in his work.
