Welcome to this day hosted by Sandi at Rose Chintz Cottage & Inspirations at:  http://sandimyyellowdoor.blogspot.com/

Since my blog is always about tea time in some fashion or another....this is easy for me.  I participate in 2 of these weekly "special days" and I am always amazed how fast they come around!  Do you like carrot cake? The recipe above is at:

You will find many other Afternoon Tea Recipes here on my blog.

One of the reasons I love to encourage young women to have tea parties is because THIS IS AN AFFORDABLE way to entertain and learn to share in hospitality! You can bake many items at a very inexpensive cost!  This might be a good time for you to begin collecting recipes for your future Afternoon Tea Party.  You could also share this responsibility of baking with some other friends who are interested in learning!

Also,  Martha at Lines from Linderhof has a great post today with tea party recipes......

What a wonderful tea you have shared with us today! I love carrot cake and yours looks lovely.
Your rabbit holding the tea pot is so cute. I just love coming here for a visit; your tea things are so pretty and I love your music. Thank you for joining me for Tea Time Tuesday and I bid you a beautiful day.

I do love carrot cake, so I'll have to go take a look at your recipe. I agree with you that tea can be a fun way to learn some new recipes. You only need a couple of sweet and/or savory tidbits to serve guests. Did you see Martha's (Linderhoff) recent post? She had some fun recipes on there from her taste tour that would work well for a tea.
You have so many pretty teapots and teacups!! I wish I lived closer so I could come to your shop!
