Today, I thought I would show the little cups and saucers  for my Teacup Thursday of Peter Rabbit and his family, Tom Kitten and his sisters, Mittens and MoppetJemima Puddleduck and Peter and Benjamin Bunny.  Of course, these are all characters in Beatrix Potter's Books!

Today is the day that Miss Spenser and her Mom Donna share teacups and I join them! I would rather be joining them in their tearoom in New Virginia, Iowa there in that small town outside Des Moines.  Sounds like a peaceful place to me!

Please see my Tea Time Tuesday Post earlier this week by scrolling down here for my Beatrix Potter Tea Party in the garden!

I love all the Beatrix Potter stories! Your teacups are beautiful! Did you see the movie about her life? I would love to visit the Lake district in England one day!

Bernideen, I love the Beatrix Potter. I have three pieces that are my oldest son's. Do you know if pieces are still available?

To answer your question, I am from Roanoke. My first "real" job after college was at the V.A. in Hampton. I then worked at Langley AFB before making the big leap to The Pentagon. My husband and I loved Williamsburg and went often when we were in Hampton. Love the whole area. Virginia's history has always been dear to me.

Always nice to meet someone from the Old Dominion!

I adore your teacups with Puddle Duck, the three kittens, Benjamin Bunny, and Peter. Beatrice Potter really blessed us with her talents. I have not seen these teacups before and I have a serious case of teacup envy. I'm with you on wanting to visit Donna and Miss Spencer's tearoom. I would love to visit you as well!!!

Thanks for your very sweet note today. I'm sorry to hear about those things happening to you, too, and by the totally unexpected people. You are right, God will resolve it all in His perfect plan. Oh, what a joy to that He sees and knows all!

Blessings my friend, I hope to join you and Donna for Teacup Thursday next week.

I love your children's teacups!!! I loved all of Beatrix Potter's stories when I was little. Dear little Tom Kitten and all the trouble he got himself into when he didn't mind his mother....It was the Puddleducks in "the Tale of Tom Kitten" and the rats in "The Tale Of Samuel Whiskers" (or The Roly Poly Pudding). I also owned " the Tale of Jemima Puddle Duck". My sisters each had a few of the BP books too, so between us we probably had the entire collection.
