Would you believe we will have snow on Pikes Peak this week? I just heard that on the radio on my way to work!  Labor Day Weekend always marks a sort of turning of the seasonal decorating for me!  I love getting out my fall decorations.

And since that means teapots - there are fall teapots like this set with bittersweet on them.  I do miss getting to go get real bittersweet like when I lived in Iowa. I loved the smell - a very distinct, clean smell as it grows on the fences along the farm land.

The colors of autumn are so lovely!

Today I am linking to two ladies who also love tea - Kathy at A Delightsome Life and Sandi at Rose Chintz Cottage

Do you decorate with special items for fall?  I know that many of you do!

How pretty and autumnal are your leaf covered tea pot et all. (I'm been up since 3am so if that sentence isn't clear, sorry - really like your china). I change my coffee table top, dining room tablescape including lines, and candle colors/scents throughout the house four times a year to complement the seasons.

Oh, such a pretty post, Bernideen! I love the toile teapot. I am dragging my feet when it comes to Fall decorating. Our winters are so cruel that I hang on to Summer as long as I can. We certainly had a hot and summery weekend. Thank you for sharing and joining me for tea.

Lovely fall tea things. I love the colors of fall. It has turned cooler on the prairie as well but not cool enough to think of fall.

Hello Bernideen
You have some special autumn decor that you bring out. I like the big white pumpkin that I assume is a soup tureen and the squirrels off to the side are cute.
I do decorate for fall too but I'll have to look to see if there are any teacups with leaves or something.

Your fall decorations are beautiful. I love fall colors, but I don't have a teapot with those colors. Yours is very pretty.

Snow? I can't even imagine. Today it was almost 100 degrees here in California. I want to decorate for fall, but it still feels so much like summer!

Loving your fall displays, Bernideen! Yes - i love the colors and the coziness of the season! Something of childhood dwells in me of this time and I wonder if it isn't attached to the back to school thing - or my September birthday. Whatever, adding a little Autumn teapot to the fray of fall is just the thing - and you've done a splendid job of it here!
Thanks for sharing!
