RAINY DAY TEA (not in the garden)

I can't even remember the last time it rained like this - steady and straight down - so much for tea IN THE GARDEN.....

So today, we have tea at the kitchen table....we improvise, right?  It is darker in the house and peaceful as a soft rain falls - no thunder or lightening.  This is a time to relax.

I have a drying rack above the kitchen sink so a few roses will be hung there today:

Some of the Lavender Dreams Jasmine Pearl Tea will be perfect. I received this in a tea swap in the tea group I participate in which is really fun.  Sometimes I just open the lid and smell it as it is so lovely!

Tea Quote from 365 Things Every Tea Lover Should Know:

Why, the club was just the quietest place in the world, a place where a woman could run in to brush her hair and wash her hands, and change her library book, and have a cup of tea.
Kathleen Thompson Norris, Saturday's Child

I would like to invite any blogger who would like to share something to do with Tea In The Garden - or tea anywhere to link up here at the bottom and join the party!!!  Please have a link on your post to this blog as well!

You have set a beautiful serene and relaxed tea setting. I wish I could be zipping tea from that pretty teacup in that lovely table and be listening to the soft rain fall...along, with pretty linens and teapot, dear Berneedin. Thank you for hosting yet, another great tea party at the Tea Parlor. Hgs,

I love coming to your blog, in the garden or inside:-D It brings back the most beautiful memories of going to tea with my daughter Kelly. Our last time was just before she started chemo, but we didn't think about that, just had a grand time enjoying the moment. XOXO
