A NEW TEAPOT for "Tea In The Garden"

When I go out antiquing I am having "happy time".  Of course, when I find some wonderful find I am even happier.  Such was the case Sunday afternoon when I found a vintage English Roslyn teapot that just happened to match a cup and saucer I already had purchased.

Welcome to "Tea In The Garden" which will take place every Monday (or Tuesday) until the snow falls again!  The truth of the matter is that I make no bones about the fact that I haven't learned to use my fairly decent camera.  That learning will just have to wait at this point in my life.  Today was either too dark earlier or too bright later.

Things turned green first in my garden and the plants are now growing.  Soon we will enjoy many lovely blooming flowers.

Please pour yourself a cup of tea.  These are both Roslyn English Bone China cups and saucers.

I wish I could tell you this fun knitted (or crochet?) tea cozy was my own creation but I don't have a clue how to knit or crochet.  I found it in an antique mall 1/2 price.

I have 3 hummingbird feeders ready for action but no hummingbirds yet.

I hope you can join me for my blog party by linking a post about tea from your blog.  Just link here at the bottom.

How lovely that you found the teapot to match the teacup! I love when that happens. The garden setting is so charming. We had a warm enough day for tea outside but it was much too breezy to set up a tea table. We live in a very windy spot so a tea table set outside is very rare here at my house. The tea cozy is cute. My mother could knit just about anything but I never learned. I would much rather know how to crochet. Imagine the doilies I could make!! Thank you for joining me for tea and have a wonderful week.

Your new teapot is simply stunning! I love the pretty, elegant shape, and the fact you had the teacup to go with it ... well, it was meant to be. And now you are making me want to go crochet a cute tea cozy like this one -- too sweet!

Your tea things are beautiful, and you photographed them beautifully too. You may think you aren't very good with your camera, but in my opinion, you've done a great job. (I, on the other hand, REALLY don't know how to use a camera.)

Happy teatime,
