After several days of rain the garden
is looking happy today. Time is moving
on and now we have the appearance of
upcoming irises, more lilacs and
the promise of coming peonies.
but there are still some of the later
arrivals. I am just happy to see
green everywhere.
this little wildflower I planted
many years ago as I always
forget it's name. I am so
happy to see some Iris's
beginning to bud.
back yard with birds coming and going.
The hummingbird feeder is ready for
when they arrive. We have enjoyed some
bluebirds this year around our yard.

What a lovely view from your deck balcony. It shows how symmetrical the layout of the flower beds. How did the koi survive the winter? I did see my first hummingbird today in my apple tree. Not on the sugar water yet. But the Baltimore Orioles are.

Your flowers are so lovely! You are blessed to have such a beautiful big garden area to enjoy! The lilacs are wonderful...we can't grow them here in Florida, and I truly do miss seeing them. They were my mother's favorite flower too. Thank you for sharing your spring beauties with us. Delightful!
