I always admire the 1904 Edwardian period
home in Centralia, Missouri. It is a Queen
Anne style home built by pharmacist
R. L. Hope and his wife and later purchased
by the Chance family. It is maintained now by
the Historical Society of Centralia.
was earlier this year!
What a delight to see. I am partial to the yellow as I rarely see yellow roses. The orangey one next to it reminds me of my grandmother's Jiminy Cricket. The house is a beauty. and I would love to see inside.
ReplyDeleteI have enjoyed reading about your Amish trip, as well as the Centralia trip with roses. Centralia, Missouri is a place that my husband has some family roots. He has often heard stories from that area. I am intrigued with the Amish way of living and Roses always capture my heart; seeing a big beautiful Victorian house would bring a smile too! Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteThe colors of the roses are so beautiful, and it must have been so fragrant!
