TABLE LINENS FINISHED FOR TABLE #1

This is my first set of table linens that I have finished and hope you use for some "tea in the garden" posts.  My garden isn't very impressive but I plan to enjoy it just the same.  I also am hoping to give a benefit tea in my garden sometime in the future and use the sets.

These chair linens are of course, more
work than I had thought they would
be.

It takes time for a garden to
develop.  I hope some wonderful
friendships develop through
Afternoon Tea here and that
will take time too.

  2. Oh these muffins do sound good. I'll bet they are especially good with a brisk cuppa. I love the beehive tea set as well.
I have to tell you that your back yard has really turned out beautifully and those chair covers are a wonderful idea. Thanks for the inspirations!

  6. Oh, this was a sweet post, in many ways, but for me: Morning Glory Muffins! For my sister name is Gloria and I always say Morning Glory! I need to find her something with morning Glories On it. Perhaps a tea cup, or tea pot! Then see if she can come and have Morning Glory Muffins! I love it! You have the loveliest idea! Always!

  10. Hello there, you have such a wonderful site - I always enjoy my visit here. I especially like your comment about picking up the book "Well Preserved" and taking a trip to Cape Cod...I'm right there with you! And you are 'keeping Joan's memory alive' by sharing her recipes and stories.

I'm living in Georgia now but grew up in Miami, Florida: my folks moved to Miami (in 1946) from Worcester, Mass (very Irish - both of their parents were from Ireland)...as kids from Florida, we would spend some summers with our Massachusetts cousins, visiting Cape Cod, Boston, and Provincetown.

Your wonderful site just sparked many fond memories - of jumping in the icy-cold water and trying out all those seafood dishes. Thank you so much for making my day!

Because of tight budgets, we stayed in town this summer, but thanks to you, I took a 'memory' vacation today...it was great!

    Thank you,
