Welcome to the yard with the Queen Anne's Lace today. We are having a bit of rain today which is lovely but before it started I was able to catch a few photos.....
This summer has been hotter than usual EVERYWHERE it seems so a garden is a wonderful place to be able to sit without direct sun burning down........ A place to be refreshed and relaxed. As you have seen - my Queen Anne's Lace explosion has taken place.
I am praying for those experiencing drought this summer...especially the farmers in the midwest.
Hello Bernideen,
ReplyDeleteYour garden is lovely and the bouquet is as well. Love your pretty china! I picked Queen Anne's Lace for my tea this week. Had to have my tea indoors again. Hope that's alright, if not just delete my post. Wishing you a beautiful day!
Blessings,
Sandi
Your friend is going to have such a nice surprise when the flowers are delivered! Love the garden pictures today.♥♫
ReplyDeleteYour photos are beautiful and so is your garden retreat. What a lovely bouquet, too.
ReplyDeleteLovely setting. You are lucky to have the queen ann's lace popping up. I have tried to grow it and even plants plants and they always die.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your relaxing tea time.
You have the most beautiful garden and china - this post is just gorgeous, Bernideen!!!
ReplyDeleteI am going to join you but unfortunately it isn't in my garden for once - it's just too danged hot today- could have in the morning before the sun came around to the back, but had appointments all day and just couldn't get it together in time.
Thanks for hosting, ma'am!
Just beautiful! I would love to be in your garden RIGHT NOW! Such a serene and soothing place.
ReplyDeleteLovely Bernideen. I love your lacy setting and mosaic birdhoues. Your garden must be such a joy to you!

oh you're so right -summer is going fast. What a lovely post, flowers are so pretty, still love that teapot and the cupn'saucer. Thank you for sharing...
ReplyDeleteHi Bernideen,
ReplyDeleteWhat a joy to see your garden again and take in all the beauty. Your table is so lovely with the beautiful teapot and teacup set. I don't have as much Queen Annes Lace in my gardens as I usually do. Last year I deadheaded most of them. After seeing yours I'm going to let what I have go to seed for next year. Your lucky to still have foxgloves in your garden. Mine have been gone for a month or so. Thank you for hosting this tea party and have a good rest of the week.
Nancy
Hi Bernideen,
ReplyDeleteLovely, and lovely that you took your bouquet to a neighbor!
Bernideen, the story of your neighbor lady who gardened in her GIRDLE must be shared! I hooted. Why would ANYONE garden in a girdle. Yikes????
Cheers!
