Welcome to the Holidays and time for decorating,
baking, serving tea and all sorts of wonderful things....
For us Christmas is all about
the celebration of the birth
of Jesus.
Luke 2:VS 8-9 And there were in the same country shepherds abiding in the field, keeping watch over their flock by night. And, lo, the angel of the Lord came upon them, and the glory of the Lord shone round about them: and they were sore afraid.
VS 10-11 And the angel said unto them, Fear not: for behold I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people. For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Savior, which is Christ the Lord.
I would love to just stay home today and do some baking, however, I own a shop - so this is a very busy time of the year. I so look forward to retirement when I can be a homemaker again. I love to sew and have so many projects running around in my brain.
Hi Bernideen! OH, your little tea table is just precious! Love all your pieces and the little ladies are darling!
ReplyDeleteBe a sweetie,

Hi Bernideen,
ReplyDeleteto stay at home as a homemaker seems wonderful but to have a running business has nice sides, too. I wish you a good Christmas sale. The items you show on your blog are so lovely that I would love to shop in your store. The Bavarian chocolate set is so charming and makes together with the angels a charming atmosphere. Thank you for sharing this wonderful tea time and for hosting this sweet event.
Best greetings, Johanna
Oh, I love this set and ofcourse the milk glass vase!
ReplyDeleteHello Bernideen,
ReplyDeleteFunny how you would like to retire and stay at home to be a home maker and now that my children are grown, I would love to be out running a beautiful store like yours! Your chocolate pot is so sweet and the cups are adorable! Your home is really beginning to look like Christmas with your angels and other cute decorations.
Blessings,
Sandi

Oh Bernideen...what a wonderful angel collection! Wondeful. And the antique hand painted china is a fabulous compliment. Opening boxes that have been stored for awhile is really like opening a Christmas package! Either something you've forgotten about, or an old and welcome friend! Wonderful post and photographs. Thanks for linking to Tuesday Cuppa Tea!
