COLDER THAN LAST YEAR

After experiencing a surprising white
Christmas - it is very cold in Missouri!
And the forecast for the next
 few weeks
is the same thing.

I think it looks like my lithograph:

I almost forgot to get this out for Christmas and so glad I finally
remembered as  I love it dearly.  It
is an 1897 hand colored lithograph.

  1. What a beautiful New Year’s Eve (almost) post! Your lithograph is lovely, but I am sorry that your world is matching it. It certainly is frigid.

  2. Oh, your lithograph is simply beautiful! And I love the sparkly white putz house church too. Lovely decorating. It's colder than usual here as well, and more snow than usual for December.

  4. Hi Bernideen! We are super cold here in Kansas as well. I'm Missouri born and all my fondest childhood memories are of the Ozark hills in central Missouri where my grandparents had their farm. I can't even express how much I love your beautiful lithograph! So glad you remembered to get it out this year. Happy New Year!

  7. We're also under an extreme cold alert here. It's so cold that numerous places have cancelled the outdoor events for New Year's Eve. Happy New Year, Bernideen!

  9. You've made such a lovely home in Missouri. Your photos pull me to visit your state more when I'm passing through to my daughter farther north. Looking forward to visiting with you in the coming year...I have a feeling it's going to be a great one!
