JULY ROSES TABLESETTING

I went out this morning and suddenly found myself
pulling a few weeds.  I recently bought some cheap mulch which was a mistake and it seems that
there are weeds growing where ever I put the cheap mulch.  In moments I was covered in sweat because
July is hot in Missouri!

So today I did an indoor reel of my rose themed
table setting in the dining area.  I love Instagram
and have been learning to make reels.  I am not so
good at using my camera for video as I can't
hold still yet!

I must confess that the roses are from the
market which had a buy one dozen, get
another dozen free.

The cozy is made from some older
Ralph Lauren fabric (a pillow sham cut up)

All the china represents
roses of many patterns:

  2. So many lovely rose patterned dishes and tea sets! I love to see the mixed patterns in a table setting! Your tea cozy is beautiful! I can well imagine how hot it is to be out in the garden weeding right now. I live in Florida and I can't stay outside for more than a few minutes. It's probably a blessing that I don't have much of a green thumb, or I'd have to keep maintaining a big garden! LOL. I enjoyed seeing your beautiful rose display. Thank you for sharing it with us. It would be lovely to sit down and have tea with you.

  3. I love summer roses! I am just starting to get the second bloom on my bushes. My husband often stops by Amish stands to buy me a garden bouquet of a variety of flowers! I love them whether they came from my garden or not!

  4. I can imagine how much work it is to keep your lovely yard free of weeds... without the added work from mulch with weed seeds... yikes!
I enjoyed seeing your lovely rose tableware...so many patterns that go together perfectly. You've got some stunning teapots!
I love how you repurposed a pillow sham into such a lovely tea cozy. You're so creative!
