August is the perfect month to get out
my set of "Devonshire" Johnson Brothers
dishes which seem a little "early fall".
They are softer fall colors.
This week I am out in the garden every morning
trying to do a lot of "clean up". Of course
this bouquet would need to go away when
eating at the table.
I was so excited when I found the teapot on
Ebay (or Etsy). Of course, the lace Alencon
French tablecloth is definitely a favorite. I did
some repairs to the napkins by sacrificing
the worse 2 and using the lace for repairs.
I am partial to tea cozies made with
crochet and lace.

ReplyDeleteThe design on your china is beautiful. Intricate but colorful. You have made some very pretty and impressive tea cozies with a variety of cloth and doilies. Summer does seem to be flying by and since it has been so hot and humid in north Ohio, unusual too. Have a wonderful weekend.

ReplyDeleteI am a huge fan of Johnson Brothers. I have the set of “His Majesty” dinnerware, and I inherited service for 12 with glassware and completer pieces of “Friendly Village“ from my mother. Your table looks beautiful. I’m quite taken with those tea cozies. I don’t own a tea cozy, but I have a lot of teapots and probably should.
