RAINY DAY TEA for "Friends Sharing Tea:

Although I think there will be plenty of opportunities yet for teas in the garden.  Yesterday when I did
this post it was a very rainy day for
which I am glad!

The leaves aren't really showing any sign of fall here today but that will happen soon.
Did I share our new fence with you ?  After the sides were done we decided to add the addition across the back instead of keeping it open.

Everything is quite wet outside but here
is how it looks from the left side looking
 over across to the right:

As you can see - the arbor had to be moved
as did some shrubs and bushes.

Last Sunday afternoon I was the "helper"
and my husband rebuilt the farmers cart
below.  All that was left after years
was were the wheels but he had wisely
drawn a diagram of the original wood design
so he could remember how to redo it.

We will go back in and enjoy our tea and
some of the "leftover" scones from those
I made yesterday for Bible Study.
We are downstairs in the tea room by the sliding glass doors.

I made 3 batches of these scones yesterday
so I think I finally have the recipe memorized:

The fish seem to be enjoying the rain today -

I hope you can join in my tea related blog party below:

The chintz fallish tea set is perfect for the season. Your peach scones look delish too. Thank you for sharing Friends Sharing Tea. It was necessary for me to have my tea indoors today too. 4. Bernideen, how I envy you your tea room and garden! Gorgeous! I think fencing the back was a good decision. Love that farmers cart your handy husband re-created. The plate in my photo is part of a trio, and I have a yellow trio just like it.

  21. Hi Bernideen, I have been catching up on tea blogs and wanted to stop by and say hello. I did not know you moved to Missouri. Is that your home state? I remember visiting your tea shop in Old Colorado City several years ago. I also sent many customers to you, allof them saying they spent too much money buy beautiful treasures! Hee Hee! Your tea time looked very inviting and I love your sweet cart and pretty yard. Good luck at your new home, at least it feels new to me. I am happy I was able to visit today. Joyfully, Anne
