EARLY MAY IN THE GARDEN

It is early May in the Missouri
garden which means the 95 degree
weather isn't here yet - so let's
enjoy this sweetness in the air.

There is the promise of things
yet to come and blossom:

There is a return of
some flowers and bulbs...

There is the joy of
a first bouquet:

There are live bunnies to
contend with as they
bite off the tulips and
leave them on the ground.
I'm glad Mr. Peter Rabbit
is better behaved than they are:

Oh, the joys of spring!

  11. Such beauty in your garden, Bernideen! Also, you mentioned in your latest post about how we enjoy bird watching as we get older...how true that is! Maybe we appreciate their beauty and we take the time to notice.

  12. How very lovely---I've had to be away from the computer---trying to get our poor yard cleaned up. I'm hoping anywhere in my yard will look half this good....simply LOVELY!
