This morning I set up Tea In The Garden- with the birds - that is, with my "birds" teapot. Thank you for joining me today. Please pour yourself a cup of tea and sit on my old bench....rest a spell and enjoy the clean mountain air.
Our temps have been going down into the 50's at night and the garden is starting the closing down aspect. Only a few roses are blooming but as you can see I still have plenty of Queen's Anne's Lace.
but for today I am having
fun with these pieces!
My friend had Breast Cancer
surgery yesterday so the
bouquet will be going to her.
Soon we will be pulling out all our fall things - I see some bloggers already have. I usually do mine changes around labor day. Our area must have substantial snow this winter or we are going to be on watering restrictions next summer.
I have a blue teapot just like yours! I'm not a blue person either but I love birds. :) Love the queen anne's lace!
ReplyDeleteDear Bernideen,
ReplyDeleteyour birds tea set is sooooo cute. I really love this Chintz pattern and it is perfect for every season. You have set such a lovely tea scene and your bouquet is lovely, too. Its a loving idea to spend it your friend. She will be pleased. Its so good to have caring friends when one has to manage such health problems. I wish her the very best for soon recovery. Thank you for sharing.
Best greetings, Johanna

Your blue teaware is very pretty and so is the green birdhouse. The garden is still looking lovely, even though it is closing down.
ReplyDeleteSounds odd to wish you lots of snow this winter (guess that comes from living in Georgia), but it's better than watering restrictions next summer. :-)
Always so cozy looking in your garden Bernideen and your Queen Anne's Lace is non-stop blooming! Ours is finished so I'm really enjoying yours.
