WISHES ARE LIKE....by Clarice Fox-Hughes

I just finished reading this wonderful book.  I have been
down with my back after foolishly lifting something too heavy
last week.  It was a perfect time to read.  I had read Clarice's
first book already:

I did a review on "Wren Bay" here!

If you love homemaking, gardening,  cooking, romance  and travel, you will love these books.  "Wishes Are Like" is loaded with authentic French recipes that are easy to make.
In Clarice's first book she introduces us to her character -
the beloved Wren.  I know that I sure love her!
I do recommend these books to young women too and Wren has ideals and values that are wonderful.

Four years after her marriage to Devlin, Wren and he journey across France and you get to go too!  It was when I read about Brittany, France that I thought of our blogging friend Magali in Brittany in "real life".

I do think you would love reading these two books!

  1. Sounds interesting. Especially an easy French recipe...I didn't think there was one. Hoping to find time this winter to get to my list of possible reads. These both will top the list. Thanks for the recommendation.

I always love your comments and thoughts! If you aren't a blogger yourself you may have difficulties leaving comments. I recommend you go to http://google.com/accounts and open a google account which doesn't mean that you will have a blog (unless you want one)but will make it possible for you to make comments on all blogs! PLEASE USE A NAME in your google account AND NOT "Unknown" !
Sometimes people repost not realizing their comment posted! Go slowly when you post your comment - don't rush! It will not appear until it is approved. If a question is asked I will try to answer it here.
