SPRING BULBS IN THE GARDEN

Today I thought I'd share some of my
spring bulbs that are the first to
arrive this year.

Frankly, it's not that warm today.  I had

considered a "Tea In The Garden" photo
shoot but changed my mind when I felt the air.

Like many of you, last fall I planted

bulbs all around and wondered how
many might make it through the winter.

At the end of last summer I dug out
one more little flower bed area into the lawn.
It doesn't seem all that big now but
it took me quite a while to get it done.

I am really glad I got that done.

I hope your spring is coming along and I
send my wishes that you be healthy and
keep safe during this difficult time!

  1. How lovely, Bernideen! My mother's garden isn't quite blooming yet, although her crocus bed is starting to put in a good showing. Thank you for sharing!

  5. Your garden is so beautiful Bernideen, you are so inspiring and its beauty always takes my breath away! Your new flower bed is nice! Wish I could take in all of its beauty in person, but maybe someday. How nice that you can have tulips in your front yard and the deer won't eat them. You have so many yellow finches, how nice! What kind of seed do you have in that feeder?
    Sending hugs!

  6. Wow your bulbs are amazing..so many different types and colors. Love all your stauary especially bunnies! Yes tulips can be annual and some are better at naturalizing..I had one variety that came back for many years. I think when I order next year I'm going to look for those types. Thanks for stopping by! Stay safe and enjoy your garden!
