PATRIOTIC 4TH OF JULY TABLESETTING

Today I thought it would be fun
to do a patriotic table setting
for the 4th of July which is
when we celebrate Independence
Day in the USA:

This vintage English Ellgreave teapot
has very soft colors:

This teapot was a 1976 Sadler
Bi-Centennial commemorative.
We were able to attend those
activities in Yorktown, Virginia.

My transferware teapot, cream
 and sugar and
a few other pieces are USA Homer
and Laughlin historic George
Washington pieces.

I found the damask burgundy red fabric
a while back.  It was vintage, never
used and enough to easily make a
tablecloth.

It is very hot where we live and
might just be where you live too.

Happy Independence Day!

EVERY LEGAL VOTE SHOULD COUNT

We are running behind in our decorating this

Christmas because we have been spending a

great deal of time in prayer for our nation.

Like others, we have noticed so many irregularities

and questionable things in the voting establishments

of our country and we have joined thousands in

praying about the election results.  We are calling

for a revote on paper ballots in every state

where signatures need to be verified and

identification needs to be required.  We do

not believe in the integrity of Dominion

voting machines.  We believe every legal

vote should count and every illegal vote

should not!

Luke 12:2  "For there is nothing covered that will

not be revealed, nor hidden that will not be known.

4th of JULY PATRIOTIC TRANSFERWARE

Today I am sharing some Homer Laughlin
 "George Washington" inspired transferware
I found about a year ago.
It was made in the USA too
I have mixed it with other
red transferware pieces:

I had seen one of these teapots a few years ago in Colorado but it had a broken lid
poorly glued back together.  Patience is only occasionally  availed to me but eventually
as I waited I found a perfect one in Denver, Colorado.

I love these sweet George and Martha bookends:

I want to wish everyone (here in the USA) a Happy 4th of July!

I am one of many who are so sad to see the values of our great country being dissolved every day
 little by little.
 May God restore
America is my prayer.
Prayer and God have been removed from
everything possible.  It is very sad.

God Bless America
While the storm clouds gather far across the sea,
Let us swear allegiance to a land that's free.
Let us all be grateful for a land so fair,
As we raise our voices in a solemn prayer:

God bless America, land that I love,
Stand beside her and guide her
Through the night with a light from above.
From the mountains, to the prairies,
To the oceans white with foam,
God bless America,
My home sweet home.

This was another vintage item I found -
a little oval of Martha Washington:
