PAINTING SOME VINE TREES

I found some vine trees at Hobby
Lobby and painted them
white today so I set up
a little display on the buffet
with some of my Nicol Sayre angels.

I got a little distracted as I was
supposed to be sewing tea
cozies!

Tonight we are going to a concert
our Granddaughter is in for her school
and with an outdoor tree lighting!
Excited!

SNOWING OUTSIDE

We don't get a lot of snow here in
Missouri.  Since I lived in Colorado
for 23 years I realize that this is nothing -
but since it is snowing I just went out
and took this photo of our nativity
which is now old and peeling
but I still
love it!

CHRISTMAS STARTS AT THE KITCHEN TABLE

I always say the same thing on the
day after Thanksgiving.  "It was
such fun getting out the fall and
Thanksgiving decorations  but
here we go putting it away".

Christmas starts today with the kitchen
table and a tablecloth I made from
a toile bedcover by cutting it.

I've been up and down the steps to
the basement enough today so
I think I'll make myself a cup of tea.

As you can see, it is a rainy
day out and perfect for
a nice cup of hot tea!

Are you decorating yet?

JANICE THE BIRTHDAY GIRL

Yesterday we celebrated a Birthday
Afternoon Tea for our friend Janice.
The tea room was all set up a few days earlier!

And here she is ready to celebrate:

To keep things moving there was a
buffet and a beverage area
where guests served themselves:

Happy times:

Loving friends and family members came!

And were fed yummies:

LET IT SNOW

I realize this is very minimal snow....

Missouri doesn't get much - so for
those living here they take notice.

I love it!

LEAVES, BERRIES AND TREES IN THE NEIGHBORHOOD

It seems like it was a beautiful
fall everywhere this year!

Today I took my camera when
I went for my daily walk through
the neighborhoods nearby.

I always admire all the berries and
wild fruits for the birds to eat.

There is a plethora of color everywhere!
