Today is Tea Time Tuesday and I set a little table up for you in my Beatrix Potter Tea Garden.....I took this picture through my screen window from the upstairs!

Miss Tabitha, Mr. Jeremy Fisher, Mr. Peter Rabbit and Jemima Puddleduck all were celebrating the arrival of a new birdbath in
the garden!

Some little mice scampered about for a drink of the cool water...it's going to be hotter today for sure!

I have 24 total chair backs covers - made from my grandmother's old pillowcases on which I have sewn old doilies.....These 4 are in purples.....I will be showing you all of them next month!

the ones above and below were from the same large doily - I removed the yellow center and used the outer strip of purple flowers....

This below is just part of a round doily - the rest was cut off and used on another cover not pictured here....

This was one of the bottom skirts below where I used a very long runner for the front of the skirt.....

On Tuesday's I participate with others for "Tea Time"...please join them by going to Prince Edward Island and seeing Sandi here
at Rose Chintz Cottage and Inspirations!

I have gotten some calls at my store asking where to get this statuary....click here to go to Pennsylvania to see this company. I recommend you see who sells it in your area as the shipping is very expensive on 1 or 2 pieces- it is very heavy!

Those chair covers are just devine! What a fantastic idea. But isn't it hard to start cutting into those beautiful doilies! It feels like such a risk to take, but when you see the results... Just lovely.
