VINTAGE LINEN CHAIR COVERS FOR "Tea In The Garden"

I have been sewing some chair covers
to over folding chairs to little
table settings in the garden.  I am
planning an upcoming fund raiser
and plan to use these.

I made a little tea cake to enjoy.

I love summertime in Colorado.

  1. I like old-fashioned style. Both the garden and in my home. Mäniskor around me say that I have an English cottage garden. My nephew want is in the Asian Japanese style. The flavors are different. I like chintz pattern on your china. Sweet with gold knot on the teapot. I wish you a great week! Zinnia

  5. Bernideen, I am in love with your chintz! Is there anything more charming than the English Cottage style? I am loving it as well. The teapot is gorgeous!
I haven't tried Pinterest yet although my DIL asked me to get into it. I'm not that brave, I'm afraid and I've heard some negative things about it too. Think I'll stick to blogging for now. Thank you for sharing your beautiful tea pretties with us today and have a lovely day.

    Blessings,

  7. Hi Bernideen,
I love your style, Bernideen. You have always stunning tea sets to share. I love those with flowers on it. Japanese or Chinese is nice, too. But not for every day.
    Best greetings, Johanna

  8. I love your chintz teacup - gorgeous - I think English Country Cottage - as much as one can do in the South - is kind of my style - with a little formality thrown in! I hope you have a wonderful day - I appreciate you sharing with A Return to Loveliness,

  10. Ooo! Bernideen - I am all over that English cottage style tea! Your sprinkling of tea things are a delight to look upon - and transporting to thought of genteel repasts in a serene and beautiful setting. A good thought here - knowing your tea style!
    Joy!
