SEPTEMBER MORN FOR "TEA IN THE GARDEN"

Welcome to the month of September

September marks a change - a change in schedules as children go back to school - a change in weather - a change in the air and a change in the way we decorate our homes.

I am a person who loves variety so change is a good thing for me!  I don't enjoy looking a the same ole same ole!  I love to eat different things - and move through all four seasons with different decorations in my home!  Different dishes, table setting, etc

I still have some Queen Anne's Lace blooming but much of that is gone - actually I have gone ahead and pulled out many of the old bloomed out plants - of course making sure to control where past seeds have dropped and I see plenty of plants for next year in the baby stage.

The little tea set is part of the "Games Series" and the Worcester Group. It is perfect for fall and perfect for Hot Cinnamon Spice Tea.

oh whow! Your garden is still flowering so much and the bouquet is lovely. The china is to die for. Sooo pretty. And the cute napkins. There are (as always) so many nice details on your table. 4. Your flowers are still beautiful, I just love looking at your tea garden...
What gorgeogus dinnerware, so fitting for this time of the year, when oranges, and browns take their turn on the table.
Your tablecloth is exquisite, lots of handwork went into making that beauty.

  9. Bernideen, your dishes are lovely and perfect for Autumn. I am not quite ready to leave Summer behind just yet though.
Hubby, my son, and I took a lovely walk on the beach yesterday and today we had to light the pellet stove because we're getting dumped on by Issac. We do need the rain however so I'm not complaining!
The garden in your header looks just beautiful with the vibrant flowers. Thank you for joining me for tea today.

    Blessings,
    Sandi

  10. A very nice tea in the fall garden! I'm in the mood for fall foods -- stews and such and hearty tea breads like pumpkin and butternut squash!

  11. The garden looks pretty. It seems quite a few Americans decorate for the seasons. Not something we do here, just for Christmas and not always for that.

I am sure the muffins are great but I cannot imagine just what Pumpkin muffins would taste like. People are just about getting into making Pumpkin soup though I have not tried it. I guess it must be something like Squash. Generally here (until recent influence from the US,) pumpkins have just been to make lanterns from.
