The other night as we were going in the house our new neighbors called over and said "are you baking any brownies"?  I guess that is an indication that I have already spoiled them!  This morning I baked some brownies so I'm  guessing they will be happy!

I am sharing two teacups today which means one is for me and one for you!  Pick which one you want for your tea.

The first one is an English Royal Albert with pink, burgundy and yellow roses.  The other one is English Taylor and Kent and is hand painted with pink and yellow flowers.  It is also numbered.

Please help yourself to one of these Chocolate Peppermint Brownies and if you would like the recipe it is HERE.

Winter time affords us the opportunity to catch up on reading and I have some teatime cookbooks here on the sofa I want to share with you!  Nothing better than sharing recipes.

Last of all - we have new neighbors - that is BIRD neighbors.  I looked up this morning and hawks are nesting two doors down in our greenbelt.  Can you see the head at the top of the nest?

Hope your week is wonderful!

Hi Bernideen
I like the English thatched cottage teapot, and would choose the Taylor and Kent teacup for myself. Brownies are always a treat for me as I rarely bake them.
It will be exciting to watch the hawks in the trees, hope you can get more photos.

You have set a charming tea, Bernideen. I love the thatch roofed cottage teapot! Lovely teacups too. I enjoy a brownie once in a while. Not too often because they are too addictive. You have interesting neighbors there in the trees! Thank you for joining me for my Anniversary Tea Party. You have been joining me almost from the very beginning and I'm so happy we've 'met' over tea! Have a lovely week, my friend.

Happy Tuesday Bernideen. Another brutally cold and snow filled day here in NJ. Where are the warmer sunny days??? Your teascape is lovely. Very cozy and warm. Perfect for a day like today. The doll is adorable.

Keep warm,

Another lovely tea party, Bernideen. I like your cottage teapot, and I'll have my tea in the Royal Albert teacup! The peach colored roses are beautiful, and a reminder that spring will be coming. As for the brownies... they look delicious, but vicariously is the best way for me to eat them from a calorie perspective! ;-) I've linked to your blog on my post tomorrow. Thanks for hosting. ~ Phyllis

I did see the hawk.
Love the hand painted teacups a lot.
I was going to ask for the brownie recipe,
as they looked so good. Lucky neighbors.
I am heading over for the recipe now.

My goodness, Bernideen! What a wonderful tea you have set up. I hope the neighbors don't gobble all the brownies before I get there!;>) I am going to copy that recipe over. Mint and chocolate - you can't go wrong. I will take the English Royal Albert cup-love the roses on it. I did see that hawk-it is HUGE! xo Diana
