FALL TEA BY THE WINDOW for "Friends Sharing Tea"

I hope your week is going well and you are enjoying a wonderful fall!  I've poured
you a cup of tea and I have a muffin for
 you here by the window:

I hope you can sit a spell and chat.  Outside the leaves have pretty much dropped and need to be raked...
oh well!

Let's stay here where it is cozy and warm as temperatures are in the 50's today.  I am sharing a little Royal Worcester Game Series tea set pieces I have had for over 20 years.
I found it in Montgomery, Texas years ago.  This week I found 2 bread and butter plates to match at an antique mall for only $3.00 each!  I was so excited.

I really admire the blogs that are very soft and pastel.  I can tell you I have tried to be softer and love shabby chic.  It isn't working.
I don't know what happens but when it comes to fall I love to bring in some orange.

Some of you remember this
silly
 owl I made last year:

  3. Hi Bernideen,
You have such a lovely home and I love your tea set up in front of the window; very cozy! The oranges and reds in your floral arrangement are quite eye catching. I'm not really an orange person but your post is very attractive for Autumn. Love your teapot and I'm happy you found two matching plates. Thank you for sharing this with us and joining me for tea. Enjoy your week.

    Blessings,
    Sandi

  15. I actually know where Montgomery, Texas is! There used to be some pretty good antiquing there, though I haven't checked it out in awhile. My sister lives nearby in Magnolia, so maybe when we go to the Quilt Festival in Houston this week, we can check it out.
I love your teapot! It reminds me of Spode's Woodland.

  18. Good morning! Settling in with a cuppa and ready to visit! You did a tremendous job with the photos. You really bring the reader right in and make them feel there are there. Your home is lovely and I know what you mean about the fall colours. Your flower arrangement is glorious and I love the dishes you used. I like pheasants. And have known a few personally I will not be so ill mannered as to discuss how delicious they taste. If we have to come in for the season, what a charming place for tea.

  19. Dear Bernideen,
keep on your color in autumn! Its lovely to see the bright colors in that time. Soft pastells and shabby white alone is for me to calm. Your mixture is perfect. I love the table and the birds view. Your home is really cosy. Thank you for sharing this lovely tea time. Have a Happy Halloween and bright moments!
    Best greetings, Johanna
