Yesterday I couldn't resist baking
another pumpkin pie. On Thanksgiving
we just had one piece so I baked
another and shared with our neighbors.
Where we live - it hardly looks like winter
and their certainly isn't any snow but
today
it was somewhat overcast:
We have raked our yard 3 times but we have
a huge cedar in the back that will remain
nice and green through the winter.
We do confess that we miss the snow
of Colorado this time of year.
Like many of you, I have been enjoying
getting out the Christmas decorations:
My Pumpkin Pie recipe can be
found on any Libby's Pumpkin
Pie Filling.
I hope you can join me for my tea time
Oh Bernideen, your home is ever so beautiful! All of your Christmas touches brought a smile to my face :)
ReplyDeleteHappy day to you! Hugs!
Your home is looking so lovely, as always, Bernideen! Thank you for giving us glimpses of your pretty decor. I'd love a slice of pumpkin pie and a cup of tea with your red transferware pieces. Thank you so much for hosting and I hope you have a happy week.

Your decorations are wonderful!! I love the little houses and have a collection too. Oh that window with the curved top for a decoration is amazing. How I want one of those now. I use to make that same pumpkin pie recipe too.

ReplyDeleteYour Christmas decor is lovely, Bernideen. I especially like the Christmas balls hanging from your chandelier. So pretty! Thank you for hosting!
ReplyDeleteGood to know Aunt Libby shared her family recipe with you too! Your pie looks prettier than mine did. I'll have to practice making a prettier crust.
ReplyDeleteI think I'm living at the wrong place, can I be your neighbor?! lol

Hi Bernideen. Your home is lovely! I haven’t started yet, as my Honey hasn’t been well...hope to soon! Pumpkin pie is a must to repeat. I love it but my Honey doesn’t so like to come across it at a restaurant or back sale. Have a lovely week and thanks for hosting.

Bernideen, your pumpkin pie looks soooo good. I'd love a piece right now! Since my post this week, chicken and mushroom penne pasta, is totally unrelated to tea (other than I drank a cup of tea immediately after dinner!), I've linked my very first tea-related post, posted in my first month - first *week* - of blogging nearly 8 years ago.
ReplyDeleteLove your Christmas decor and your pumpkin pie looks yummy!. Thanks for hosting!....Christine
