TIME TO SHARE for "Tea In The Garden"

I thought it would be fun to share
with you what we got for our
50th Anniversary:

To celebrate,  we got this antique
Ansonia clock in St. Louis and
 we love the
colors and interesting feet.

We aren't in the garden today because
I wanted to share our clock but
believe me,  I have been there lots
lately.  I have had to pull out some
things that are overtaking areas
and move some things hoping for
better results and growing conditions

So, please take a seat
 here and
have a cup of tea.

I am displaying some of my
chintz teacups right now.
I have a great time changing
this display for different seasons
and using special themes.

Earlier I was reading some of the
older June issues of Victoria:

Do you sometimes use a stainer
to catch the grounds of your
loose tea?  Or maybe you use
teabags or put your loose tea
in an infuser or T Sac?

Our weather here in Missouri is
much more summerlike now.  I
have been enjoying my flower
garden and already collecting
seeds to dry.

If you have a tea related
post to share - please link
here at the bottom.

  1. What a beautiful antique clock you have as a wonderful keepsake for your 50th Anniversary, Bernideen! It looks so pretty in your hutch along with all your other pretty pieces. I love your chintz pieces which add a beautiful indoor garden party. Thank you for hosting your lovely tea party.
p.s. I think I may have told you that this month my late beloved and I would have been celebrating our 48th anniversary.

  3. What a lovely clock! I also find your chintz collection charming. I tend to use teabags or disposable sacs at the office, while I use infusers at home. Thank you for hosting!

  4. I will try to do a tea related post to share tomorrow. Your clock is just you, so perfectly you. Very pretty. I am loving chintz right now and just found a new cup on Saturday at a vintage show. Oh the gardens are definitely busy right now. Just pulling a few weeds today and then rewarding myself with several bouquets in the house.

  5. So glad your weather is improving. So glad you got a special moments of your anniversary! I love vintage clocks. My husband used to do clock repair as well when we had our antiques and tea shop. It is a dying art! Thanks so much for hosting and linking to Tuesday Cuppa Tea

  6. Bernideen, what a lovely find for your anniversary! To answer your question, I nearly always use a stainless steel infuser basket in my teapots, so never need to use a strainer. But I do have a teapot or two that none of my infusers will fit in, so then a strainer comes in handy.

  8. Happy Anniversary! What a happy occasion and a beautiful clock to enjoy! I am loving the pretty things on your shelves. It's fun to change things up and display things we love...to enjoy while we drink tea! I made some lovely raspberry tea yesterday but I have to admit to drinking it cold. It's HOT here in Florida...time for cool drinks! Hugs!
