So let's enjoy a cup of tea!
I also made one of those

We are so happy to have gotten some rain in the last few days. Our state has been in a drought.
I find it hard to believe that kids are back
in school. It also makes me a little sad
that the hummingbirds will be leaving
next month. I have enjoyed watching
them go from Zinnia to Zinnia in our
yard. I just looked out and saw one
at the hummingbird feeder.
I think Zinnias are my new favorite
hot weather flower for Missouri!
Oh Bernideen, I love, love your newly made tea cozy!! It looks so pretty with your dishes, and on your table. I'm thinking that I need to plant a taller variety of zinnias next year, and I'm going to save the heads from the ones I have now. You always have the prettiest bouquet of flowers from your garden. Thank you for hosting your gentle tea party.
ReplyDeleteThank you, also, for sharing the link to your favorite lemon loaf recipe that you tried!
ReplyDeleteBernideen, your tea cozy is gorgeous. Love anything toile! The china is so very pretty to match too. The lemon loaf looks wonderful, yum! Love that lighter pink zinnia in your collage. Glad you got some rain. It has been cooler here this week and many folks are very happy about that. We've had some doozey rain storms too however with flooding in some areas. Our summer has been very unusual this year but I'm not ready for Fall yet either. Thank you for the tea and loaf. It was lovely!

ReplyDeleteYour new tea cozy is lovely, Bernideen. The fabric is lovely, isn't it. Aren't Zinnias the happiest of flowers. All the glorious colours cannot help but put a smile on one's face. So glad for you that you enjoyed a little rain.

ReplyDeleteBernideen, what a beautiful tea cozy! That fabric is really exceptional and goes so perfectly with your transferware. Thank you for hosting. I could have used the lemon cake recipe you linked to--I had yogurt I needed to use up. Unfortunately, I saw it too late and had to throw out the yogurt (and I HATE food waste!).
