MY NEW LOOK

A few people have commented
to me about my new hairdo.
On my Bernideen's Tea Time,  Cottage
and Garden Facebook page I let
everyone know my situation.
So,  I will do that here too.

I figured I can't hide the facts
anymore so I am letting you know
I am now the owner of a wig.
Since last summer I lost most of
my hair (alopecia areatea).  In the
whole scheme of life - this is but a
small thing to endure, especially
when one sees what others go through.
I mean that with all my heart.

I am blessed beyond measure and
very thankful to the Lord for all
my many blessings.

Bernideen - at almost 70.

  4. I would never have guessed that was a wig. It looks really cute and is an excellent style for you.

I'm in Missouri, too, and am looking forward to Spring time. Thank goodness for the little quick one or two day tastes of Spring we have been getting when the temps go into the 50's or low 60's.

  5. Your wig is very natural looking, Bernideen. I would never have guessed. One of my best friends wears a wig and she always looks impeccable. Like you, she is beautiful inside and out. I do believe you have a birthday coming up soon and I mean it when I say, you certainly don't look your age! Happy Valentines Day, my friend! Hugs and blessings...Sandi

  6. Bernideen, I would never have guessed it's a wig. When I saw your new photo I just thought you'd cut and colored your hair. It is the perfect color and style for you! Love your glasses, too! Sorry about the hair loss, but you have a wonderful attitude about it.

  7. You look beautiful! I lost all my hair during chemo a couple of years ago and was fortunate to receive a beautiful new 100% human hair wig from the American Cancer Society for free. I didn't even know about this program until a friend who had also gone throu9gh cancer told me. My hair grew back, but is still a little thin right in front. But I feel very blessed to be cancer-free!
