It's the last day of May in
the garden:
I can feel that the season is changing.
There is just a sense
that summer
is coming soon. The peonies
have all finished so I am
excited to see the hydrangeas
starting to have buds.

My plan is the enjoy the summer!
I have boldly declared my love for Queen
Anne's Lace - yes, right in the front yard.
And Hollyhocks are getting
tall at the mailbox.
How is your garden coming along?
Have a lovely weekend!
I am sure your summer garden will be just as beautiful as your spring garden. I also love Queen Anne's Lace. There's a large clump blooming now in the meadow where I walk. I have been thinking about bringing a bit of it home to plant in my garden.
ReplyDeleteMy hollyhocks are in their first year (all foliage, no blooms)so I'll enjoy yours this year. We are in that lovely lull where everything is or has bloomed, and the Japanese beetles haven't showed up to ruin the party.
ReplyDeleteThe Queen Anne's Lace is so dainty, and the rest of your garden continues to be a joy to behold! (That bunny is perfect!)
ReplyDeleteIt's been so extremely hot and dry here in SC....everything is turning brown..
Such beauty!Enjoy your time!
ReplyDeleteYes, it is changing here as today was hot and sunny. Temps are climbing to the high 90s. I'm not ready for the heat!!! Your flowers are lovely, Berideen! Happy June!
ReplyDeleteSo lovely. Have a wonderful Lord's Day!
ReplyDeleteYou have such a beautiful garden, Bernideen, with such an old fashioned, cottage look, that I just admire so much.
ReplyDeleteMagnificent... Waht a green thumb you have!!! I buy these planting and they do not flourish and by the next year, they are gone.. I have given it up.. What a delight this must be!!!
ReplyDeleteYour garden is so beautiful, Bernideen. I also love Queen Anne's Lace but it is not out just yet. We are having a cold June so everything is slow this year. So far we have only tulips up. Love the bunny! We have a bunny too who likes to frequent our back yard. He was snow white and now he is brown. Nature is amazing! Happy June!
