Today I enjoyed having some
ladies for a luncheon tea:
I choose the word "luncheon tea" because
I didn't make multiples of food items although
I did serve Chicken Salad Croissants and
a nice green salad with pine nuts and
raspberries. Then I served scones with
cherry filling inside and little cheesecake
tarts with fruits. We had iced tea and
since it is very hot - our cups and saucers
stayed empty of hot tea.

Market so we enjoyed some Somerdale

ReplyDeleteHi Bernideen. Your scones look lovely and I love the heart-shape. What a wonderful tea time. I've been a way for a while but am slowly getting back into my blog. It has been a hard month so far with the passing of my mother but I did have my son home for a visit and summer is still with us. Your garden is amazing and makes one happy just to look at it!

There is something so special about being invited into someone's home where they have fussed over you a bit in planning food and table settings. Meeting at a restaurant just doesn't compare!
