OUT AND ABOUT IN A JUNE GARDEN

Well, it was nice to have spring for a while but
now the heat is officially on!

My stand of hollyhocks by the mail box
is getting taller every day.

I know I shall miss the backyard foxgloves which
only do well when it is cooler.

Miss Tabitha and Jeremy Fisher
are sad to see the foxgloves go
but these daisies are sure
making them happy.

I found another Campania birdbath on a
local online auction:

I hope you are enjoying your soon to
be arriving summertime!

  1. Your garden looks beautiful, Bernideen! It's hot here too. The peonies are done and I will soon have Stella d'oro daylilies in bloom.

  7. Your flowers are just gorgeous! I've never been able to grow hollyhocks (I suspect Georgia's clay soil isn't ideal for them), so I am happy to enjoy yours. :)

  8. Hi Bernideen! You have so many of my very favorites growing in your garden. You make it seem so easy. We had a couple of scorching days and then yesterday we had what felt like the coldest June day on record here! Probably was. Thanks for sharing a spot of beauty. We have to keep looking for it now. Thank you for your cheering comment!

  9. Love the hollyhocks! And your wild bunny! Hope he is not munching
that delightful garden. Yes, here in Ohio, it is much warmer this week.
Though we had a great cool down on Sunday and Monday that was a benefit
to all. My hummingbirds are using the sugar water and hanging basket
flowers. My wild rabbit comes out in the eve for apple peel I toss out.
So wonderful to see all your flowers, thank you.
