After just spending 2 hours at Barnes and Nobles looking at cookbooks, I realized that I have barely touched the tip of the iceberg in regard to cooking! I certainly haven't cooked my way through Mastering the Art of French Cooking like Julie Powell. Here are 2 purchases I made:
I also couldn't resist Betty Crocker!
What a beautiful collection of teapots!

ReplyDeleteHappy New Year from our house to your house. My daughter-in-law has a tea pot collection. It is really a lot of fun to look for a new one to give her for a birthday or Christmas gift. Your collection is really lovely.

I went back a few post, I love the doves, the red bird lanterns, Your tree, Table setting of Old Country Roses! You have me wanting a chocolate pot! I love the one in your header and it matches the cups and teapot! I am in love! lol
ReplyDeleteAll your teapots are so lovely such a joy to visit you! I have gotten hurt 4 times since just before Christmas, and torn my surgery loose, in my abdomen. I hung with one arm hanging onto a door jam and was swung out the door but some how managed to get a foot on the threshold and pull myself back indoors. Well I picked up some small wood to go in the wood heater, New Years Eve, hubby was gone and it was cold. well they were not small enough now I torn my other side. I had the tree in front of the propane heater. So It couldn't be turned on. My arms have tried to freeze up on me, but Hanging in the air pulled some loose. lol I have to laugh so I won't cry. I be back soon
Happy Pink Saturday and Happy New Year, Bernideen.

Very pretty teapots, Bernideen. The cabinet housing them is beautiful, too. You know, my DH just made us Julia's recipe for Beef Bourguignon for Christmas dinner. The best meal I've ever eaten!
