OUT EARLY WITH THE SQUIRRELS

Early this morning we were
out in the garden early.

My garden is now just short of one year
old so I am not expecting too much but I
love it.  Of course, I am still buying plants
instead of depending on maturity on
my own.

Everything was quiet in the garden....the squirrels were busy eating...we spoil them with walnuts...all 8 squirrels......yes I count them every morning.  Actually, when we get up at 6:30 AM there are always 1 or 2 waiting at the back door.  When I open the door I have to stop them from coming in the kitchen.  Have you ever heard that song "The Day the Squirrel Came to Church"? I can tell you I don't want a squirrel running around my house!

  1. Bernideen, what a nice idea to treat the squirrels. Mrs. Tabitha and Jeremias Fisher will love to dine with them. Thank you for the nice phtotos, I always adore this crocheted pansy doilies. The china is lovely as always.

  6. Love the vintage linens. Now how do you know there are 8 squirrels? That made me smile. I have lots of squirrels in my yard, but I couldn't possibly know how many. I know each looks alittle different, but how to remember and count them is so cute.
