It's July and welcome to "Tea In The Garden":
This morning the skies were overcast. We have had a lot of rain lately which has been unusual for us.
My garden likes it but of course it is concerning
because of the Waldo Canyon Burn scar. On the 4th day of rain it did bring down some of my tallest delphiniums.

Some flooding has occurred over near the mountains.
I am very fond of Queen Anne's Lace
although yes, I do know it is considered
a weed and in the carrot family!
Have yourself some tea and sit here
while we chat a bit.
Hi Bernideen,
ReplyDeleteYour Swans for Tea Time are so very pretty today! Your bench is just beautiful and I love that teapot and teacup with matching cream and sugar. I have never seen any china as lovely. Thank you for hosting Tea Time today! Hope your weather improves! Karen
Lovely! Your garden is just gorgeous! Love the swans...they are perfect! Thanks for linking to Tuesday Cuppa Tea!

I love your swans, Bernideen! They had some more whimsy to your wonderful garden and tea. The delphiniums sure add such a burst of color to your yard. Thank you for hosting your party.
ReplyDeleteYou have made such an inviting tea for today! Love all your crocheted items and sweet tea set. Darling swans and bouquet! Hope your weather improves so you can enjoy your beautiful yard. Thanks for hosting your tea party!

Your teatime table is again so lovely and.....I think it´s nice to have some swans for tea.
ReplyDeleteihr garten ist wunderschön!!! alles liebe von angie aus deutschland
ReplyDeleteThose delphiniums are such a gorgeous blue, and the roses are lovely. Your tea looks so pretty with all your special touches. Thanks for hosting Bernideen.
ReplyDeleteTea in your garden would be a real treat. Thanks for sharing the beauty with us.
ReplyDeleteOh Bernideen, I miss my Queen Anne's Lace. We usually keep one little patch of the front yard aside for it, but this year I have needed everything trim for some projects I am working on. YOUR's is so lovely, thank you for sharing!
ReplyDeleteSweet story from today. Our country roads are lined with Queen Anne's Lace and blue Cornflowers, so it is like driving through a bouquet. Anyways, tonight one of our farmers was out cutting some for his teeny tiny daughter waiting with delight up the hill with a look of utter glee on her face. Awwww....
Think of your QA lace as pretty wildflowers Bernideen, they're only weeds if growing where not wanted. :-)
ReplyDeleteI'm taking a couple of weeks off from joining the tea parties but am still visiting when possible.
Enjoy your week.
What a beautiful tea in the garden, Bernideen! Love that last photo - your table looks spectacular. Your garden is looking good too. Have a great week!
ReplyDeleteYou have my favorite garden. Have a wonderful week. Blessings, Martha
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely tea time you have for us sweet Bernideen; thanks for having us today! I'm also inviting you for tea to reciprocate! Have a great week.

Your swan tea is so pretty! I really like the swan flower arrangement. Your linens are terrific (as usual). In this post I was drawn to the one with yellows on the bench under the big swan. I LOVE your pink teapot! Thanks for hosting, and I hope you have a great week :)
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely garden setting. I wouldn't be surprised if the fairies joined you!....Christine
ReplyDeleteThank you for hosting! Your garden is again so beautiful!
ReplyDeleteYour garden is lovely and reminds me of Tasha Tudor's. On first glance I thought the swan on the bench was real.
ReplyDeleteI love swans and have oft contemplated getting a pair for our place but they are not so friendly so we have raised up a pair of Sebastapol geese instead. Beautiful to watch them as glide by us in the pond , but nowhere near as romantic !
It is good to have rain but I can see why it is worrisome too. I hope the weather improves for you, but it does make for lovely flowers .
Thank-you for hosting your tea time blog Bernideen , I love the opportunity to visit so many like-minded people willing to share their tea times.
It just occurred to me that it's fitting Queen Anne's lace is such a *majestic* looking flower!
ReplyDeleteYour garden tea is spectacular, Bernideen! Rained so much here last week, too - everything is so soggy and mushrooms are popping up and things smell mouldy out there in the garden. Has me worried.
ReplyDeleteBut it stopped about an hour ago and the sun is in and out, so hopefully will dry things up a bit to a nice healthy "normal."
Thanks for hosting, sorry I have been unplugged so much lately. I will catch up. Hugs and good cheer to you.
