Welcome to "Tea In The Garden".
Like many other bloggers who work, I have found it difficult to spend time blogging this summer. There seem to be so many things to do and directions to go.
Last weekend we went for the first time to the huge Denver, Colorado Flea Market. It was very hot and sunny and of course we got sunburned. Many people carried umbrellas for protection from the sun - but not us. I found some fun bargains.
Queen Anne's lace I have from
seeds I picked in Missouri. We just
don't have this here in Colorado.
I think he was camera shy! I have a lot of silver artemesia this year (silver tall plant). Years ago I used it in dried arrangements and after throwing pieces in the garden it seems to be everywhere.
I made a bouquet last night and put some Rowan berries in it. It is a secret message that fall is coming.
Hi Bernideen,
ReplyDeleteI so love your dreamy outdoor teas with your draped table. Even your bench is draped in a pretty covering. Since you've asked, I would choose the teacup on the top of your tiered stand. Also, you fix the most beautiful floral arrangements. Thank you for hosting, my friend.
My friend with the beautiful yard! Love your tea cup selection today. Always a pleasure to visit you. Have a great week. Blessings, Martha
ReplyDeleteThanks for having another great tea party for us this week....always a pleasure to stop by and join in the fun! Hugs, Penny
ReplyDeleteDelightful tea table in the garden as usual Bernideen. I was admiring all the flowers in the garden and how the QA lace adds a touch of daintiness throughout.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous bouquet!
ReplyDeleteThe new figurine is just you!
If I would have seen it at the
market I would have know it was
for you.
Bernideen, you always set the prettiest tea tables! Such pretty teascapes and what a lovely garden. You are so lucky to take tea outside! Thank you so much for hosting and happy tea day!
ReplyDeleteYour garden is in full bloom and is so beautiful! I love your way of using your linens in the tea table and with the lovely china. Your new figure is precious and your Flea Market trip must have been fun in spite of your sunburn. Hope you have a great week and send us some cooler weather!
ReplyDeleteThanks,
Pam
Always a beautiful tea scape in your garden. Yes, summer has been dreadfully slow...understandable, perfectly.
ReplyDeleteSuch a lovely garden space you have for tea! That garden door is famous all throughout blogland! I have been away from the blog more this summer too. Feels good! But I hate missing stuff. I bet the Denver flea was fun! I'd love to go. Happy teatime!
ReplyDeleteYou always set the loveliest tea in the garden, Bernideen, and this is no exception. It is sooooo pretty!....Christine
ReplyDeleteThat is once again just beautiful! I love that lacy green teapot! Thanks for hosting!
ReplyDeleteAll so very pretty ! Thanks for sharing , Have a good week !
ReplyDeleteCute figurine, Bernideen. I got sunburned myself this afternoon. {at the beach}. But I don't mind as it will turn into a tan in a couple of days. I love your teacups stacked on their stand. Would love to find one of those stands! Your tea setting is lovely as usual and the QA Lace adds such a pretty touch throughout your garden. I am not having much luck getting an outdoor tea set up this year. It's always too windy and I'm not home much these days. We'll see what the weekend brings. Thank you for hosting and joining me for Tea Time.
ReplyDeleteBlessings,
Sandi
Hi Bernideen! WOW that bouquet is GORGEOUS! As is your lovely garden (as usual). This tea is so dreamy with the long trailing lace on the lawn. Beautiful tea cups and I really like that teapot with the green. Thanks for hosting, and I hope you have a great week!
ReplyDeleteLovely garden tea setting, and gorgeous teacups. Hope your sunburn wasn't too bad, but I bet you had a lot of fun! Thanks for linking to Tuesday Cuppa Tea!
ReplyDeleteRuth
I continue to be amazed at how "spring-like" it still looks in your Colorado garden!
ReplyDeleteHi Bernideen,
ReplyDeleteEverything is so pretty as always! Love your new teacup finds and that teapot with the green and pink roses is my favourite. Your garden flowers are so beautiful. Lace in the garden is so lovely! Thank you for hosting tea time today. Have a wonderful week. Karen
What a lovely and restful time is had with you Bernideen and your perfect eye for decorating, gardening and tea. Thanks. Valerie
ReplyDeleteDear Bernideen,
ReplyDeleteYour flowers are oh, so, lovely. They sure do love your yard and your touch to flourish so.
Your teacups and teapot are so pretty. You arrange it all it all in such an appealing way. I bet we all wish we could drop by for a cuppa with you.
Happy day, Ruthie
What an absolutely gorgeous garden teatime, Bernideen. All your lovely touches are simply splendid.
ReplyDeleteWow, so wonderful lovely arrangements and photos!
ReplyDeleteThe weather isn't so great in Brittany this morning and it was such a pleasure to be able to stop for tea in your wonderful garden with your pretty teacups. I'm off to admire more beautiful teapots thanks to your party!
ReplyDeleteBernideen, Your garden is lovely! I have had no luck growing anything this year. It's been such a disappointment because I purchased three rose bushes, two gardenia, and some beautiful hollyhock in the spring and they only bloomed once. I think there is something wrong with my soil :(
ReplyDeleteYou found some gorgeous teacups. I would so enjoy sitting in your garden and sharing a cup of tea with you. It has been a frightfully busy summer, without too many lazy days. Hoping it slows down this autumn.
Have a blessed week!
Love this post today--the flowers, tea setting and scenery is so lovely...I do not have a blog but I "join" you for tea when you host these parties...I am just getting all my tea sets and linens out of storage and I am glad to have found your blog...Thanks for sharing!
