THE ROSEMOUNT MANSION IN PUEBLO, COLORADO

Today we went for a ride south down to Pueblo, Colorado.  We drove by the 37 room mansion built in 1893 which was the home of John A. and Margaret Thatcher.  I took a couple photos to share and will let you know they serve Afternoon Tea in the Carriage House for special events several times a year.

The home (museum) was not
 open to visitors today.

After noting how lush and green these photos are, I thought I better mention it is 10 degrees warmer in Pueblo than where I live and springtime was definitely advanced here.  Last night it even snowed a little during the night where I live!

  1. I just love visiting historic homes! This one is a beauty. Going to tea is already a special experience, but having tea in this type of setting really elevates the experience. Thanks for sharing and have a wonderful week.

  7. Hi my friend: You were right. My first cup was from England. I did not even know that Lefton was made in England too. I thought they were all from Japan. I have a good collection, I will have to check. Thanks for stopping by. I wish we could have looked inside this home. Looks fun. Have a great week. Hugs, Martha
