Just a quick "Happy Valentines Day" greeting
to all of you who read this blog.  I did
want to share with you something I made
a month or so ago.  I participated in a
Valentine's Day Tasha Tudor Exchange
in the Facebook "Take Peace" group and
one of the things I sent my
 exchange partner was this:

I took an old tin and decoupaged it with some
music score, then pictures from Tasha Tudor's
book "A Time to Keep" and then an old
 Valentine.  After everything was coated
 several times,
I glued some brass findings on it and filled
it with seeds from my last summer's garden.

I also found this fun felt Valentine
decoration at an antique mall
in Boonville, Missouri - so I added a few
 vintage Valentines!

LOVE that tin that you did for the challenge. It is just darling. She is one of my all time favorite illustrators. I love her book The Painted House.
happy Valentine's Day for you, too. xo Diana

What fun Valentine things. The tin is very cute. The heart is definitely a nice backdrop to vintage cards.

Sweet Valentine Keep...very useful as well as pretty. What a good idea for old tins! And I like the idea of flower seeds filling it. Happy Valentine's Day to you!

Wonderful! I would love that box. I sent out some TT valentines as well, but mine were cards purchased from her website

I would have been thrilled to receive your tin you decorated. I like doing this kind of thing also as you already know.
