With a definite possibility of a freeze
last night, I decided to take a few
photos yesterday out in the front yard:
This was the area I dug out about
this time last year and I am sure
glad that this job is done.
I see I did get the beginning stage of the
Forget-Me-Nots in there too which
are out back with Mr. Peter Rabbit!
Late note: no frost or freeze and I have been
able to get all the seed flats out of my basement!

ReplyDeleteYour yard is just beautiful now
It will be a dream this summer after you get all your planting completed
And I can't forget your fabulous fish pond
Just beautiful! I love spring!! The door arrangement is so pretty. Happy weekend.
ReplyDeleteLovely flowers. I have pink tulips but they never bloom the leaves come out but no blossom I don't know why. Hapoy weekend with love Janice
ReplyDeleteLook at all your gorgeous spring flowers, Bernideen!! Quite the difference from our snow flurries all day today! Nothing blooming here yet, no trees leafing out either, but soon! I bought some pansies but will have to put them in the garage for the next couple of nights as we are dipping back in the mid 20's - yuk.
ReplyDeleteI'm done with winter but it's not done with me!
Another great post!Love your garden with beautiful flowers and charming Mr.Rabbit !Hugs,Maristella.
ReplyDeleteOh I would hate threats of freezing once the flowers have just begun to bloom. They look fabulous by the way and I do especially like your new header.
ReplyDeleteYour garden is coming along beautifully. This summer you are certainly going to enjoy. Beautiful!
ReplyDeleteOh, I admire all your hard work! Lovely pics of your pretty blooms. Thanks for your tip on the Russian sage. It all has to be easy for us. We are gone a lot and we are no gardeners!
ReplyDeleteLovely images of Spring in your yard!
ReplyDeleteLove all the flowers...such a beautiful yard...hope it doesn't freeze...
ReplyDeleteSo pretty Bernideen! No rain, so we can be out there planting and doing whatever needs to be done! Yay!
ReplyDeleteYour garden is looking good, Bernideen!
ReplyDeleteIt's lovely to see SPRING springing where you are!! Ours is hesitant, with little peeps and tentative tendrils peeking from the trees and grass, and then a great cold burst to send them scurrying back in, it seems.
ReplyDeleteAnd I SO enjoyed your photo-array below of the gorgeous houses! What a thrill it must be to simply stroll past such lovely facades and decor.
That double-gallery one especially takes my heart, with all the frillery heaped upon the front, like one of those enormous sugar Easter Eggs, all that filigree encrustation around the front, with the plain business end stretching out in back. How nice if it were, so we could peek in.
Thank you for sharing!

So beautiful Bernideen! I can see all your hard work paid off! I hope you didn't get a hard freeze! Enjoy your day!
ReplyDeleteOh Bernideen, what beautiful photos! Your garden is ever so sweet and charming and I just love the Spring wreath on your door.
ReplyDeleteHugs to you!
What beautiful Spring pictures, Bernideen! Your hanging basket on your door is so welcoming.
ReplyDeleteI enjoyed my tour of Lafayette Square, too. I'm so glad that you're enjoying your new area so much.
Spring is looking good in your garden!
ReplyDeleteSpring looks so pretty in your new garden. I love the door arrangement!
ReplyDeleteHappy Easter,
Carolyn
Love the flowers on the door. What a welcome.
ReplyDeleteHi Bernideen,
ReplyDeleteI am so envious that you were able to have Tea in the Garden this week. Our weather has not been cooperating at all for quite some time and the sun may come out for an hour and then the rain starts once again. I love your beautiful outdoor post this week and look forward to many more. Happy Easter! Karen
