With a possibility of snow tonight
or tomorrow I decided to bring
in a few early daffodils.
I am still learning things in life.
This is
a good thing.
I thought just because
spring was early when we moved here
to Missouri 2 years ago, that it would
always be that early here. Wrong!

Your daffodils are so pretty! Love the ta cup too. No flowers blooming here yet other than the occasional crocus. We too have snow in the forecast.

So true, Bernideen. Everything changes. Hope that the snow is a mere blip and that soon you’ll be back to spring. I always enjoy seeing your beautiful dishes and the sweet linens. There’s some spring right there!

ReplyDeleteYes, we took a long ride downstate, and I thought it would be greener---and there was snow on the sides of the road still...still so cold. Lovely vignette, Berinideen.
ReplyDeleteSpring is certainly taking its time coming this year but I’m hoping the fruit trees’ blossoms won’t get frosted this year and we have a great fruit crop. Your daffodils are gorgeous!

ReplyDeleteNothing says spring like a vase full of daffodils! I love yellow flowers. We got a hard freeze and some snow her in OKC. My hydrangeas really took a hit. Hope your garden fares better!

I know how you feel, Bernideen! We had temperatures down in the 30's over the weekend here in Texas. One never knows about the weather! However, you tea sure warmed my heart!
