A CROWN DORSET TEAPOT for "Tea In The Garden"

A few months ago we were in Ozark, Missouri where we found lots of antique malls.  I found this lovely Crown Dorset teapot which is my favorite brand of English Teapot!

This of course is the
 Summertime Rose
Pattern.

We had great fun antiquing in Ozark
and look forward to going back.
I am so glad I have a husband that
enjoys doing the things I do, although
 we definitely look at different
things as we go along.

Last evening I suddenly remembered I
hadn't done this post.  I wish I could
say I had just been having "too much fun
yesterday and forgot" but since I had
spent almost 4 hours in the
dentist chair,  that was not the case.

I could have never gotten this done if I hadn't done the bouquet already and
left the tea things by the downstairs
sliding glass door.....

I hope you are enjoying your summer
as it is flying by so quickly and soon
fall will be upon us.  We have gotten
so accustomed to hot weather that
we believe we will feel very chilled
when it is cooler.

  1. Bernideen, I've never "spent the day" in the dentist chair," but that must have been exhausting. I once went with my mother when she did that very thing. She was having all her teeth capped, and she was the dentist's only appointment of the day because she wanted to get it all done. She had all her teeth ground down without novacaine!

  2. Your header is just beautiful, Bernideen, and I'm always in awe at your pretty tea things that you have and acquire. Your new teapot is a beauty and looks perfect with your teacups, and at your lovely tea table. How nice that you and your hubby enjoy antiquing together. Thank you for hosting and I hope you have a happy week.

  3. Dear Bernideen, your new header is lovely and I love your new teapot! What fun to have so many antique shops to visit. They are sadly lacking around here. You did a beautiful job of arranging your flowers and the tea table is very inviting. Thank you for having us.

  7. Going to the dentist is the worse! I've had several crowns and root canals...not fun! Your garden and tea table are beautiful. Love the tablescape and the bouquet is lovely! I'm enjoying summer and not rushing to Fall. It hard because it been so hot and humid. Yesterday our central air went out and we are suffering!

  8. To tell you the truth I am grumbling a bit about the very hot weather. Can you hear me? Ha! Love the new teapot and tea table. I have a basket like that for flowers but haven't brought it out in a long time. I must do it soon. Thanks for the inspiration.

  11. ugh, I was just at the dentist too. I love your bouquet, it's beautiful! Your tea time looks lovely, and you have found a beautiful teapot. It's nice your husband likes to go antique-ing with you. I'm sorry I haven't been to visit you for awhile; I am falling behind in this blogging thing and hope to get myself more in gear here. Hope you've been having a good summer. xo Deborah
