ReplyDeleteOh, how gorgeous! I just found out my home town area is a huge monarch stop on their way to Mexico! How I didn't know this when I was younger I'll never know. It is the Catawba Island/ Port Clinton Ohio area on Lake Erie.
ReplyDeleteMy sister has been sending me tons of pics of thousands of them alight on shrubs and trees! It's amazing! My cousin (whose husband is a retired forest ranger) told us that it takes THREE generations of monarchs to reach Mexico.
Isn't that wild?????
Anyway, I am trying so hard to visit my blogging friends - just haven't been able to spend much time on the computer since spring. I have a lot of your beautiful garden teas to catch up on as time allows. Missed you, B.

The butterfly images are stunning! One of my friends is growing her own Monarchs.
