LET IT SNOW

I realize this is very minimal snow....

Missouri doesn't get much - so for
those living here they take notice.

I love it!

  1. That is a "little" snow....really?? Looks like a lot to me but then I suppose others quite often get a blanketing of the pretty white stuff. Glorious vignettes, Bernideen. Your wintry world is indeed a wonderland.

  2. It's the kind of snow I love. It isn't too much and won't stay around all winter, but in the meantime is pretty for some pictures and a sip of warm tea as you watch from the window.

  3. Wow! It surprises me that Missouri has snow already. It sure makes the garden look pretty.

  5. I like snow as long as I don't have to shovel or drive in it! I think we're getting our first snowfall tomorrow. Thank goodness I already have my winter tires.

  6. It is pretty and it does make a pretty picture. We're supposed to get snow tomorrow and it is simply too early for it. We are supposed to get hurricane strength winds too so it's not going to be pleasant to drive in. To tell the truth, I'm not looking forward to the long cold winter but we do have all four seasons here which I know many would love to have. There is beauty to be found in each one for sure.

  7. The past few years the snowstorms have been pretty much non existent, but this year is looking like the Novembers we used to have here in St Louis back in the 1960's/early 1970's. This year it's about a week earlier starting than it used to in the 1960's when it would often start little snows right around Thanksgiving, and by
December there would be at least one big snow, but not usually in time for a white Christmas. We have had some big snow storms in the past, usually at least one each year and one time several years back, an ice storm where we, in a St Louis suburb, were out of electric for 4 1/2 days.

I don't like snow and ice, so I was hoping our weather changes would stay changed, but I have a feeling we're going to go back to some 1960's type snow storms this year.

This week's little decorative snow looked pretty in our yards and gardens though, didn't it!
