TEA TIME WITH A BOX AND A BOOK

Last night I made some lemon pound cake so
I decided to have some today with a cup
of hot tea.  It is a lovely day and the sun
is shining so that's always wonderful!

I love looking at the photos of wonderful
English gardens in this book.  We have
just a few of the first pansies and tiny sized
daffodils blooming now out front.

This week is spring break for all
the school children.

Last night I recovered a box that something
came in and ended up with a purple violet
and pansy and music themed box.

I also glued pictures on the
inside of the box.

Please help yourself to tea and cake!
I am so happy we can walk again now
outside.  Temperatures this week are in the
50's and 60's and for that I am grateful.

  4. Bernideen, would love to join you for a cup of tea and bit of cake! Love what you did with that box, you clever girl! I would have made a mess of it, I'm sure. I'm having Steamed Jam Sponge Pudding with my tea today.

  8. Hi Bernideen
I love your Sadler teapot with the purple flowers and lovely pansies. But I am swooning over your Royal Winton Welbec teaset on your header. I have the teapot and recently found the cream and sugar but have no teacups. You did find it at a great price! On our treasure hunts I rarely find much now. I think everyone is thrifting and I must confess I have bought my rosebud teapots on eBay. Hubby and I keep hoping we will find more for our collections and still enjoy the hunt. Lol. Like you do I’m sure. I’m finding that I have too much now and must be selective in my purchases. It’s so nice to visit you today. Take care my friend. Karen
