Here are a few fall touches
at our cottage home.
It is impossible
not to have a glare on that print
because it is such a dark color - even with
no lights on it reflects other things in
the room.
I also look forward to the upcoming
Christmas decorating but for right
now we love Thanksgiving which
is November 28th!
Some older green Waverly
fabric was found online:
I did have some of my own real
bittersweet in the garden and then
also, a (fake) garland for the porch
entrance from Kent's:
Love the green toile fabric. It looks lovely Bernideen.
ReplyDeleteLove that faux bittersweet...far less messy, especially for indoor decorating.
ReplyDeleteWow- you do autumn beautifully at your beautiful cottage home, Bernideen.
ReplyDeleteYour collection of autumn themed or colored is extensive! Gorgeous!!!
Your cottage home is so lovely, Bernideen, and your teapot/dish collection is gorgeous. May you and your family enjoy a glorious Thanksgiving.
ReplyDeleteBernideen, such a Thanksgiving collection of beautiful tea pots
ReplyDeleteand servers. I enjoy Thanksgiving even more than Christmas.
I think it is because Nov. is just not as cold and uninviting
as Dec.!
Hi Bernideen. It's so good to hear from you. Your sweet cottage looks beautiful in fall dress. I especially love the simple branch of bittersweet. Thanks for your visit and I hope I can find The Christmas Card again. We have been watching Hallmark but missed that one..Happy Wednesday..xxoJudy
ReplyDeleteHi Bernideen - This is Phyllis. I would gladly change your blog address on my sidebar if I knew how. I spent several minutes trying to figure out how to edit my sidebar but it only gives me the option to remove or add a new one. If you know how, please share. Thanks.
ReplyDeleteAlways amazing and inspiring! Thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteHi Bernideen! I see that you have some lovely Staffordshire dogs of your own! And so many wonderful fall dishes. I wish I had some natural bittersweet. I look for it everywhere! I'm still enjoying fall too. Your place is delightfully cozy!
ReplyDeleteBernideen, it all looks so cozy and inviting! And I'm all about tea--the version of pumpkin pie I posted today makes perfect little portions for afternoon tea, but I didn't even mention that in the post. Well, I *was* writing awfully early in the morning! That green Waverly fabric and the touches of purple are perfect accents to your sweet little green loveseat.
ReplyDeleteYour home looks so inviting for Thanksgiving, Bernideen. I love your green Waverly fabric that you found. Fall is my very favorite season and I wish we could enjoy it longer.
ReplyDeleteEverything is looking just right for Thanksgiving.
ReplyDeleteLove your fall decor! Looks like you have fun decorating for the season!
ReplyDeleteLove your decorations and the brown transferware. For some reason the color of your couch with the contrasting color of the pillows is very pretty.
