I thought I would do my part to encourage
spring by getting out all my violet bone
china pieces and trying
to encourage things.
For one thing I like to go walk around
my neighborhood every day and this
winter hasn't been too good for that
situation.
I was able to get out twice this week and
did notice some bulbs just barely
popping up in various yards including
my own.
I won't be wearing these
on my feet. I hope you
have had a lovely day
and ready for your new week!
Amazing pictures!Hugs and blessings.
ReplyDeleteLove, love violet teaware. Also love that bottom/center transferware cup.
ReplyDeleteYour beautiful violet themed pieces are lovely, Bernideen. Something so delicate, but yet regal about violets. The best I can do is grow Africian violets.
ReplyDeleteSo pretty.
ReplyDeleteNot a very good winter for many and don't we all miss going outside for
ReplyDeletethose walks! I especially like the look of your square tea cup!
Lets hope for a kind Spring and daffodils soon.
Such a lovely collection of violet adorning teaware! We have had a very mild winter, so I'm hoping the violets will soon appear. Think spring!
ReplyDeleteYour violet collection is so pretty, Bernideen, and it's our birth month flower. I love how you change out your hutch with seasonal treasures.

ReplyDeleteI'm loving those pretty paper shoes you made.Your violet dishes are all lovely
Your violet collection is lovely! I adore sweet little violets. I have a few wild ones that come up in my garden and I just let them be and hope they return each spring.
ReplyDeleteI love your hutch and it's the perfect place to showcase your seasonal china. Violets are so pretty. I brought mine out for tea this week too because the February teacups will be going back in the cabinet in a couple of days. Your paper slippers are very sweet hanging on your hutch. We are expecting a snow storm this afternoon so I'm making my visits now, just in case. Enjoy the rest of February, and a Happy belated Birthday, Bernideen!
ReplyDeleteSo beautiful, Bernideen! This has inspired me to get out my mother's violet teapot and my grandmother's violet teacup and plate when I have tea and Devonshire Splits this afternoon.
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful display and delight to the eyes. You arranged them well. I think I have some of those pieces. I love the music slippers!
